Wouldn't it be cool to have all your appointments, meetings, dates, etc. on the iPad or iPod Touch? You can sync your Google calendar quite easily. If you make changes to your calendar from the web or your desktop computer, it will sync to your iPod/iPad and vice versa. This is especially handy when you're out and about in a school, and need to quickly add a meeting to your calendar.

To get your Google calendar to sync with your iPod Touch or iPad:
1. On the iPod, open the Settings application on the home screen.
2. Click Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
3. Tap Add Account.
4. Select Microsoft Exchange.
5. In the Email field, enter the name of the account (School Calendar, for example).
6. Leave the Domain field blank.
7. Enter your full Google account as the Username. (jsmith@gmail.com for example)
8. Enter your Google password.
9. Tap Next at the top of your screen.
10. In the server field that shows up, type m.google.com
11. Tap next again.
12. Slide the mail and contacts slider to off. Leave the Calendars slider to on.
13. Tap Done at the top.
14. Depress the home button to go back to your main iPod screen.
15. Click on the Calendar app icon.
16. If you have existing calendar entries, they should show up on this calendar now.
17. Even better, if you enter new appointments on your iPod, they will automatically sync to your Google Calendar next time you're on wireless, and vice versa!
